Driver Agreement

1.1 The Operator is a licensed Private Hire Operator under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998.

1.2 The Driver is a licensed Private Hire Driver regulated by Transport for London.

1.3 This Agreement does not create a contract of employment. The Driver operates as an independent contractor unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.4 The Operator accepts private hire bookings as principal pursuant to Regulation 9(14) of the Private Hire Vehicles (London) (Operators' Licences) Regulations 2000.

1.5 The Driver shall not accept private hire bookings directly from passengers.

2.1 The Driver must maintain valid TfL driver licensing, DVLA licence, right to work documentation, and all required legal authorisations.

2.2 The Driver must immediately notify the Operator of licence suspension, criminal charges, medical changes, or driving convictions.

2.3 The Driver agrees to comply with all TfL regulations, Equality Act 2010 requirements, and Road Traffic legislation.

3.1 Any vehicle used must be TfL licensed, fully insured for hire & reward, have valid MOT, and be maintained in roadworthy condition.

3.2 The Operator reserves the right to inspect vehicles.

4.1 The Driver shall provide courteous, professional service at all times.

4.2 Smoking, vaping, alcohol, or illegal substances while on duty are strictly prohibited.

4.3 Drivers must not discriminate against passengers and must accept assistance dogs without additional charge.

5.1 All bookings must be accepted through Nuve Transfers dispatch systems.

5.2 Drivers must not divert or solicit customers outside the Operator's booking system.

5.3 The Operator may allocate bookings at its discretion.

6.1 Payment structure shall be agreed separately.

6.2 The Driver is responsible for all personal tax and National Insurance obligations.

6.3 The Operator may deduct reasonable charges for driver-caused refunds, breaches, or damage.

7.1 The Driver must maintain valid hire & reward insurance.

7.2 The Driver indemnifies the Operator against losses arising from negligence, breach, or regulatory non-compliance.

8.1 The Driver must treat vulnerable passengers with care and report safeguarding concerns immediately.

8.2 Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension.

9.1 Customer data must only be used for completing bookings.

9.2 The Driver must comply with UK GDPR and confidentiality obligations.

10.1 The Operator may suspend or terminate this Agreement for breach, licence invalidity, misconduct, or regulatory concerns.

10.2 Either party may terminate this Agreement in writing.
